Awie obtained his Open Water Instructor license in 2014. He has been enjoying teaching countless of students since then. He is an instructor who is full of humor so you will definitely never feel bored when diving with him! As an instructor with over 6 years of experience, he loves to share his knowledge & the excitement of the underwater world with those who wish to become diver
Jason started to dive when he was 23 years old, he continued to become an instructor as he caught the diving bug from his first underwater breath. He has been diving pretty much every day ever since. He is always happy to answer any questions that you have whether it’s about the course, the equipment or the diving trip that you had, especially over a drink in the hand!
Rizal is the guy that you will go to if you want to know how to travel on the sea safely. Having more than 7 years of experience as a captain, he knows about the sea conditions & weather here so well. He always makes sure that the boat is ready to go before leaving for diving. You will feel very secure when you have him on your boat!
Let’s not forget about the man behind the scenes! Bobo has been working with Scuba Junkie since 2015. His job is to make sure that the tanks all working well & safely for divers, insuring that we have plenty of tanks filled for the diving day.
Ali is originally from the UK. She first came to Semporna on 2004 to do her Advanced Open Water course all the way to Divemaster. She then fell in love with the beauty of Sabah & decided come back to work here in 2010. She is one of our most senior employee in the shop having working 6 years at the Mabul dive shop before transfer to our KK dive shop in 2016. She knows the ins & out of the shop so well which is why our operation can run so smoothly.
CiCi is the newest addition to the team & she is based at our Kota Kinabalu office. She studied Tourism Management in university which is why she has a huge passion for the industry. She helps to make booking for both kk & Mabul. She has a strong interest of the underwater world which is why she went & get her Open Water license as soon as she joins the company.
